Walking out your dreams

The last 2 days I have been in 8 hour meetings at my work to plan out our next project. Its been long and sometime boring :) but it has some what productive. During these meetings I would see my co-workers getting discourage because they are talking about their potential problems. Don't get me wrong, understanding what challenges are ahead prepares you on how attack your directions. But if you look at your potential challenges as problems then you will have a deference attitude instead of an offence attitude. Going back to the hotel the Lord showed me that this is what happens when people start walking out their dreams.

For most of us, when we start something new or start a new job we are so excited because left a situation that we did not want to be in. From the outside the new job or place seems greener from the outside. But once we start we face the challenges that takes to maintain yard to stay green. I truly believe we all have to walking our dreams, but when we do you will start facing challenges because how we respond to it determines how much you gain.

Before going to bed I looked at the plan for out next release, and I saw the challenges. Part of my job is to spot areas where we need to look into from an overall perspective. What I found was all the issues were able to be solve with new existing cool technology. When God places you in front of a challenge, he has given all your need to resolve it. You may not know it, but that's part of life. The more we found out about our self, the more we grow into our dreams.

I was really not looking forward to my trip, because I could get caught up with all the problems. But I decided to turn it around during our launch meetings and talk about their dreams. When we got back to the meeting they were laughing and finding new ways to make the client happy. Part of dreams is to bring hope to people, and this week was just another opportunity for me.
