Since I was a child I have always wanted to produce a worship CD. Well last week my dream came true. The CD was released at the Heaven Invasion Conference. I knew people were going to be touched by it, but I did not know how much. The feedback I have been getting has been overwhelming.
As with many dreams we have, we tend to store them away because of a lack of identity. But during some soaking time at my community group, he reminded me about the dream again. I know when the Lord shows you something under his presence, its because he has given you the green light. I dont think he told me not to do it, but he did make the green brighter. Now how can I produce a cd if I did not know anything about the music industry. I dont sing, write, or produce music. All I knew is when God tells you to do something, it does not matter how incapable you are, he will use you just as you are.
First the Lord blessed me with crazy favor to work with producer John Eley. John can produce some heavenly music with his finger. I then presented the idea to my 2nd year BASSM class to see if anyone wanted to sign-up. A few worship leaders signed up and we scheduled the recording sessions.
During the recording sessions, a wonderful artist Stacy Hawley sat and heard the recording so she can get inspired to paint the cd cover. During the recording I could feel the room change with his love. As the worship artists sang their original lyrics, I could see God's dreams in them. I said to myself this is what I am called for, to help people enter their promised land. One of the worship artists is also a graphic designer. So now the Lord sent a producer, singers, musicians, an artist/painter, and a graphic designer. So what did I do? I just decided to act on a God given idea and see it through to the end. To be part of a project and invest into worship artists is such an honor and pleasure. What did I learn? I learned that sometimes your dreams come out different than what you think. They always turn out better than you expected.
At this point, I did not know what the title was going to be. After listening to the songs, I realized that
"hidden dreams" were being released in the kingdom, and that's how the title came. After getting the music mastered, and the graphic design done, I sent it to be duplicated. When we released the cd at the conference, it was such a blessing to see the reaction of the people.
I want to thank all the people involved with this project: John Eley, Patrick Barriente, Erin Dawdy, Deborah Van Haelst, Patrick Carroll, Katy Casper, Ches Youngblood, Leigh Harper, and Stacy Hawley. I also want to thank: the staff at the Bethel Atlanta School of Supernatural Ministry, my parents for showing me how to hear from God and follow him all of my life, my brother who keeps reminding me on what it is to be a King of the kingdom, my sister who shows me that you can find the best in the unknown, and last but not least my wife who pushes me to go after my dreams. She always sees my dreams and knows how to make them happen. Most importantly, my papa in heaven deserves thanks glory and praise for making this possible. He is always cheering me on, no matter what I am going through. I love you God!
